The difference in this game, is you are tasked with Pikachu as your first pokemon and he follows your every beck and call in your quest to defeat the Pokemon League.

Introducing 100 new pokemon, this was Pokemon's first in-color game and with a new story mode, it's another game you definitely shouldn't miss out on.

Based on the Pokemon Blue storyline, there is not much progress made with this game so it didn't rank high on our favourites.
